Vulture, via NYMag is reporting that Jacky boy is being offered the lead in a the script titled Last Vegas. Which is being described as "The Grumpy Old Men meets The Hangover Project" from CBS Films. The script comes from screenwriter Dan Fogelman (Cars, Bolt), who also penned Warner Bros.' still-untitled Untitled Steve Carrel-Ryan Gosling comedy that begins filming next month.
Instead of drunken debauchery, this story revolves around four childhood friends who come together in Las Vegas to see the longtime bachelor of the group get married. The bachelor is the role said to be offered to Nicholson. It was also said that tensions rise with the bachelor and the widower of the group both develop feelings for a lounge singer.
Any guesses on who the other dudes will be? Throw some at me you tree readin' suckas!
I'll most certainly be keeping you posted with any new news on this. Jack is a source for my basic instincts as an actor myself, and happen to always I agree with his choices from one scene to the next. I'm stoked and was hoping for something cool and waiting to see what he would do next with himself. Maybe another good crime story next?
