Daldry Is Out Of Breaking Dawn Running, Takes New Film

Last week, I reported about how Summit Entertainment is reaching to some prestige for their next Twilight Saga installment, and Stephen Daldry, 3/3 in his last films for Best Director nod's from the Academy, was one of them.

But alas... he as passed. FEIGN SURPRISE!

It's now being being told 'round the way (Hollywood Reporter actually, so let's give it up them) that he's on a project based off the book, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, by Jonathan Safran Foer. The book is a 9-11-theme that centers on Oskar Schell, an ambitious young nine-year-old who scours New York City in search of a lock that a key his father left him will open. The boy's father died in the 9-11 attacks and Oskar was also said to be an amateur inventor, jewelry designer, astrophysicist, tambourine player and pacifist at such a young age.

Eric Roth (The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button, Munich,) wrote the script that Daldry will be shooting from.

I'll let you know what happens next with this, but no doubt it will be an interesting thing to witness.

Munki Out.
