Late last night, in a tipsy-buzzed-drunkish little bout of curiosity, euphoria and nostalgia, this little Munki went a-browsin' through his digital folders and stumbled across an oldie (not a goodie). The oldie beheld for him a simply fantastic scene, in an out of context the thing is badass.
So I cut this thing up and now we get to explore it together! Munki and human alike!
Enjoy (asssholes)!

Scenes That Are Dope: Iron Man's First Outing
This well timed and anticipated scene was the played over and over in my head for like a week after I saw this movie. After this one, all we get is the ending sequence of Iron Monger battling Iron Man with the wonderful Jeff Bridges doing his best to be sinister.
To grab the shots of the Iron Man/F-22 Raptors dog fight, cameras were flown in the air to provide reference for physics, wind and frost on the lenses. For further study of the physics of flying, skydivers were filmed in a vertical wind tunnel.
Workin' and merkin' son.
Munki out.

Scenes That Dope: Jet Li Vs. A Bazillion Blackbelts With Escrema Sticks
Kiss Of The Dragon was written by Li himself, and produced by French legend Luc Besson. Producer of a great many films, some with Jet himself, and who has also directed the fabulous The Professional and The 5th Element. I never get tired of watching either of those films btw.
So anyway, without further ado, here's the scene we're he whoops up on the asses of like, maybe 50 blackbelt cops in the room.

Scenes That Are Dope: Blade In The Blood Club
This is by far, one of the freshest, most interesting, get's you hooked and reeled in, atmospheric and mood establishing, pulse pounding openers for a film, ever. Mos def.
Favorite kill: Punch to the face, steak to the heart, kick to the head sent into the glass and finally electrocuted by the lightbulb.
And watch for the guy getting the BJ. Who's the other dude sitting next to him watching?! What's he doing?!
Here's the Blood Club opener for '98's Blade.
All hail Wesley.
The song is a remix by the 80's/90's/2000 post punk/alternative dance group New Order. Comprised of members of the great band Joy Division. They put out the song "Confusion " in 83 and it firmly established them on the scene of dance. The remix can also be found as, Blood Rave, or New Order Confusion Blade Remix.
And yes, that chick driving was Tracy lords, the porn star.
